  1. Be selective, note down the keyword

    You don’t need to translate the whole dialogue or paragraph. It is more effective to note down only the keywords. When reading a specific topic, highlight common phrases and daily-use vocabulary.

  2. Focus more on clarity rather that aesthetic

    Using many colors on a single note may be overwhelmed. Use color to differentiate header and subheader, or to differentiate the word and the meaning

  3. Review

    Before starting a new lesson, write down randomly what you remembered from the last lesson.

  4. Make it fun

    If you are a fan of sketching, you could doodle your note. You might want to edit this template and add any pictures you like!
